Krishnamachari Srikkanth
(born 21 December 1959) also known as Kris Srikkanth is a former
captain of the Indian cricket team and former chairman of the
selection committee. He represented Tamil Nadu in the Indian
domestic circuit. He is also a commentator on Star Sports Tamil.

is an Indian swimmer. He swam across the Palk Strait.
Kutral Ramesh (born 8
November 1981), popularly known as Kutraleeswaran, is an Indian
swimmer. He swam across the Palk Strait, in April 1994. He swam
across the English Channel in 1994 when year five channels in a
calendar year.
S.Venkataraghavan (CEG Alumni) is an Indian former cricketer. He captained the Indian cricket team at the first two cricket world cups, and later became an umpire on the elite International Cricket Council Test panel.
Aashish Kapoor (CEG Alumni ) is a former Indian cricketer who played in four Test matches and 17 One Day Internationals from 1994 to 2000. A right-arm off spinner and right-handed lower-order batsman, he was a member of the 1996 Cricket World Cup squad.
Akash G (CEG Alumni) is an Indian chess grandmaster and former national champion. He currently holds national record in chess for being Youngest National Senior Chess Champion at the age of 16 years and 14 days.
Sangeetha M (CEG alumni) is a former Indian female high jumper. She has represented India at the 2004 Asian Junior Athletics Championships and 2004 South Asian Games. Sangeetha clinched gold medal in the women's high jump at the 2004 South Asian Games and in fact, set the women's high jump record of 1.81m at the South Asian Games history.
